KKDC is an established lighting manufacturer producing a wide range of specialist LED lighting solutions for high-end architectural markets worldwide. Research, development and manufacturing take place at our R&D Centre facility in Seoul, South Korea, with UK based design and marketing collaboration. KKDC benefits from a global & European sales base in London alongside dedicated sales teams across the globe with offices situated in Auckland, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kyoto, London, Milan, New York, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, Taiwan, Tokyo and Toronto. KKDC Italy, founded in 2016 in Milan, is one of KKDC Sales Branches based in Europe. With its multicultural team, KKDC Italy is aiming to provide immediate sales & technical support to our Italian and Swiss Lighting design professionals and French Key Account clients. After 5 years of operation, KKDC Italy has built a very positive local reputation and got involved in more than 300 lighting projects all over the world.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Account Manager at KKDC Italy, you’ll be responsible for driving sales into existing defined accounts in Italy and Switzerland. Your accounts will all have strategic importance to the growth of the region. You will collaborate with teams across KKDC Italy to manage all aspects of the sales process including business development, lead management, qualification, evaluation, and closing. You will advocate multiple KKDC product lines and as a brand ambassador, you will champion our innovative products to make our clients more productive, efficient and customer-oriented. The ideal candidate is someone eager to learn and, after a training period, follow projects independently and be an active member of the Sales Team, being in direct contact with our key clients who are lighting consultants, architects, contractors and end-users.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Along with your manager, define and execute plans for your accounts, and then exceed your sales goals through stakeholder mapping, prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities.
  2. Cover the whole sales process from start to finish. Develop quotations, manage orders to factories and manage the payment collection from clients.
  3. Develop and manage your sales pipeline, by assessing and moving many activities simultaneously.
  4. Grow, manage and track customer contact and install base within your accounts.
  5. Act as a guide and strategic partner to your accounts by becoming intimately knowledgeable about their key business challenges; Provide product & technical advice to new & existing clients.
  6. Daily contact and sales report to Head of Sales Team, Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecasting.
  7. Analyze sales statistics and monitor the clients' preferences to determine sales potential and inventory requirements.
  8. Improve sales and after-sales service, and properly handle the relevant issues raised by the customers.
  9. Visit the site and meet installer if there is any issue.
  10. Help company reach and overcome the sales targets.
  11. Develop existing customers and attract new clients.
  12. Other projects that assigned by the Head of Sales Team.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering, Business with 2 to 5 years.
  • Internship or previous experience related in LED / Lighting industry/ Similar industry is preferred.
  • Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency and a belief in the KKDC mission.
  • Customer-oriented, extraordinary communication skills, eagerness to learn and consultancy skills.
  • Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.
  • Fluent English and Italian language abilities, both oral and written.
  • French and German considered a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts as and when required.
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales Team.
