Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

Position Summary

Main Responsibilities

1. Manage an electronic product line lifecycle
2. Hardware and firmware requirements management for new developments
3. Writing and optimizing embedded firmware in C language
4. Applying the principles of functional safety to design functional safety compliant mechatronics systems
5. Develop and manage Verification and Validation strategy for new products
6. Guarantee the application of Quality assurance principles during the entire product lifecycle
7. Actively participating in the innovation process and continuous product improvement

Job Position Requirements

Education: University master degree - Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering

Professional background

10 years experience in:

1. Smart sensors manufacturers or electronics systems supplier
2. Academia on mechatronics projects
3. Electronics boards design and validation
4. MIL/HIL testing environments
5. Functional safety standards ISO 13849 and/or ISO 26262 basics

Considered as a plus:

1. Model based software (Matlab/Simulink) and code targeting
2. Polarion tool for requirements management
3. Atlassian Jira for agile projects management
