We're looking for a Cloud Operations System Engineer.

The resource will be placed in the Cloud Operation Team which is accountable for IT Operations and acts as a competence center for IT matters related to Cloud Infrastructures in support of TESISQUARE Client services/SaaS Solutions (provisioned from private/public cloud providers). This role involves a combination of activities that seek to optimize IT services, tools, workloads, and processes in the cloud (private/public/hybrid). Typical tasks cover asset management, performance, security, network, and compliance. It’s a collection of actions that enhance the efficiency, accessibility, availability, and flexibility of cloud systems, which translates into improved business agility for the TESISQUARE Cloud Computing Platform.


The main responsibilities of the role are:

  1. Managing/monitoring the Cloud Computing platform;
  2. Managing requests from the delivery/support department;
  3. Formulating system and performance improvement proposals;
  4. Managing IT operations (from planning to incident/service/change management) by liaising with outsourced cloud providers;
  5. Interfacing with various business roles and defining, with managers, a weekly schedule of activities.

The following technical skills are required:

  1. Experience in configuring/managing web solutions architectures in complex infrastructures based on Linux and Windows Server operating systems;
  2. Managing/monitoring/troubleshooting of AWS, GCP (Google Cloud), and Azure platforms;
  3. Networking knowledge;
  4. Managing/monitoring/troubleshooting DB Engines (Microsoft SQL Server, MYSQL, Postgres, MongoDB, etc.);
  5. Configuration and management of monitoring systems (Nagios, etc.);
  6. Scripting/programming languages used in Linux and Windows Server (e.g., BASH, PYTHON, PHP, PowerShell, VBS).

The role requires possession of the following qualifications:

  1. Diploma or university degree in a technical/computer science;
  2. Relational skills and an aptitude for interpersonal relationships;
  3. Proactivity, analytical and problem-solving expertise;
  4. Accuracy and punctuality in handling tasks;
  5. Excellent knowledge of the English language.

The work location will be our Bra/Turin office. Sporadic transfers to other TESISQUARE offices may be requested.
