We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to join our team and expand our operations in the Italian and Austrian market. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the photovoltaic industry and the ability to navigate the Italian market effectively.

Business Needs

  • Establish and develop business in Austria, Italy, Hungary, or Romania.
  • Define, present, and defend business strategy for the entire market.
  • Build strong relationships with key players in the market.
  • Represent SOLSOL in the market via professional associations.
  • Participate in the marketing strategy for the entire market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and understand market trends in the specific country.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow the company's market presence in the specific country.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Sales Strategy: Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, technical, and operations teams to align strategies and achieve business goals.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience or ability to act as a Business Developer in the photovoltaic or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of the given market and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in local language and English.
  • Ability to work and report in Office365 environment fluently (MS Excel).
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
