You will receive the basics, including a private room and meals as well as complete support. As an au pair in Italy, you will take on a role that requires a huge sense of responsibility. You will care for children (or child) and work for 30-40 hours per week. Your tasks range from teaching English to accompanying them to play dates. Previous experience in child care or babysitting and a genuine fondness for children are required to qualify for this job. If you fit the criteria, be prepared to spend at least 2 months in a scenic location in Italy.
An au pair is an unmarried young adult aged 18 to 30 years, who has no children and travels to a foreign country for a defined period of time to live with a host family. The au pair is considered as a full member of the family during the entire stay. However, the au pair is neither a housekeeper, nor a nanny.
Au Pairs will receive a weekly stipend of USD80 to USD100 per week from the host family.
