Position Overview

The Asset Protection Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining all aspects of an Asset Protection Program in their assigned stores. The Manager will work with the store’s Management Teams to protect the company assets, including property, merchandise, cash, and associates. This is accomplished through internal and external theft investigations, Operational Audits, and Employee Awareness Training.

The Asset Protection Manager reports to the Asset Protection Lead EMEA and may need to travel to stores within their area, primarily focused on Retail and Corporate activities in Milan.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Promotes and adheres to all Company Policy and Procedures.
  2. Identifies, investigates, and resolves all Theft and Fraud activity.
  3. Utilizes all tools and resources provided by the company to detect and manage internal losses.
  4. Ensures all Company Safety Policy and Procedures are being followed.
  5. Develops and maintains partnerships with Store Management, District Manager, Regional Manager of Asset Protection, local law enforcement, and Corporate Partners.
  6. Provides expertise and training in all Operational areas of the Asset Protection Audit and Monthly Awareness Program.
  7. Conducts Asset Protection Store Orientation and Awareness Training.
  8. Conducts daily AP Perimeter walk to identify theft, physical security, or safety opportunities.
  9. Conducts daily Cash Management Audit and Receiving Audit for procedural compliance.
  10. Follows up on any Asset Protection Store Initiatives to ensure operational compliance.
  11. Participates in all store meetings and store management meetings.
  12. Manages inventory process ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  13. Recruits, Trains, Schedules, and Supervises AP Staff when applicable.
  14. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager of Asset Protection.
  15. Manages vendor relations, invoicing, and coordination of AP elements to provide store support.
  16. Responds to alarm calls as needed and required.
  17. Works with Store Management and Inventory control to resolve any inventory discrepancies.
  18. If applicable, partners with Store and Corporate team in preparation for events (i.e., Permits, guard coverage, etc.).

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Experience:

  • Minimum three years in retail Asset Protection; multi-store, specialty experience preferred.
  • Wicklander – Zulawski certified, or commensurate interview experience; CFI eligible.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Special Skills:

  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
