Responsibilities

As the Senior Software Engineer (Mobile SDK) you'll report to our Director of Engineering and spearhead the technical vision and strategy for the SDK organization. Your role involves shaping the technical direction for our mobile SDK, supporting the growth of our core business, and venturing into new product domains. You'll focus on developing core features that boost retention, engagement, and monetization metrics for our most valuable customers. Your main responsibility is to build and deliver a cutting-edge real-time SDK offered to developers by Skillz.

Experience:

4+ years of software engineering experience.

Experience in the gaming industry (ideally). Alternatively - experience with Unity and a passion for building services for games.

Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, such as product and design. Proven track record of building and delivering consumer-facing products and features from scratch.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field of study, or equivalent industry experience
