A technology solutions provider is seeking a skilled workshop technician in Dublin, Ireland. This role involves managing repairs of medical devices and requires a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on complex electronic equipment. The workshop technician will be part of a team responsible for managing the repair of devices returned to the workshop by our customers. The technician will communicate with the customer via telephone, e‑mail or face to face where necessary. Additionally, pre‑delivery inspection of devices will be undertaken by the workshop team.
Your main responsibilities will involve servicing and repairing a range of medical equipment. You’ll apply your technical expertise to identify faults, carry out detailed repairs, and verify that each device complies with our quality standards. All activities must be thoroughly documented and maintained within our internal tracking system.
We are seeking candidates who possess a combination of technical aptitude, formal education, and practical experience.
