Our client, a leading player in the aviation leasing sector is seeking a VP Finance to join its Dublin-based Finance team. Reporting to the EVP Group Reporting, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting to senior management, shareholders, and other stakeholders.

This position offers a unique opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to a high-performing finance function and work closely with commercial, trading, and leasing teams on strategic transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting to senior management and shareholders

• Prepare and review consolidated and SPV-level statutory financial statements

• Own key accounting areas and perform technical accounting analysis under IFRS

• Support and drive innovation in management reporting using tools like Power BI

• Ensure accurate processing of leasing transactions within relevant systems

• Perform reconciliations of key balance sheet and income statement accounts

• Collaborate with commercial and cross-functional teams on a range of transactions

• Liaise with auditors and provide technical accounting insights

• Identify and support process improvements and internal control enhancements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)

• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualified experience in a similar role

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS

• Experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment

• Exposure to aviation leasing, asset management, or similar sectors preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Business Central a plus
