Qualifications

  • Relevant Property Degree.
  • Member of IPAV with REV qualification or Chartered member of SCSI/RICS.
  • PSRA Licence essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of the property market.
  • Must have own car and Full Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standard of valuation reporting.
  • Prepare reports and valuations for clients, banks, and legal purposes.
  • Carry out Red Book / Blue Book valuations.
  • Incorporate and enhance office processes.
  • Manage client relationships.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Valuation Surveyor and Commercial Agent to join a growing team of property experts, within a highly established and recognised Auctioneering firm in Galway City. Overview & Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a high standard of valuation reporting.
  • Preparation of reports and valuation for clients, banks, developments and legal purposes.
  • The candidate will need strong inter-personal skills, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ensure speed and accuracy of information provided to management/client.
  • Carrying out Red Book / Blue Book valuations for loan security and regulatory purposes for both residential and commercial properties.
  • Incorporate and enhance office processes and systems to improve efficiency and service.
  • Business development and client relationship management.
  • Undertake developmental activities to broaden experience and knowledge, including CPD.
  • To develop expertise in the Valuation Sector.
Qualifications/ Experience
  • Relevant Property Degree.
  • Member of IPAV with REV qualification or Chartered member of the SCSI/RICS.
  • PSRA Licence essential.
  • Must have own car and Full Driver’s Licence.
  • Extensive knowledge of the property market.
  • High level of Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Numerical reasoning ability and high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to prepare written reports to Redbook / Bluebook standards.
  • Strong work ethic.
