We're searching for entry-level Financial Planning Assistants (BDA’S) to join our professional and fully funded Financial Planning Trainee role in our Porto office.

What to expect?

Your first year will be spent gaining experience and learning everything there is to know about financial planning. You'll learn about the client journey, report writing, different types of analysis and how to use our tools and processes. You'll also enroll in the CISI and CII Financial qualifications, which will start your journey to becoming a qualified Financial Planner. You will also gain additional skills through a variety of training programmes delivered by our apprenticeship provider and our fantastic Learning and Development team.

After your first year, you will be able to specialise your development towards becoming a Financial Planner. We will support you to achieve any additional exams, with ongoing development to support your career.

  • Whilst client Advice will be limited initially, we are looking for those who can succeed as their careers advance. We value good communication and people skills and a desire to build long-term connections with clients.
  • We need you to have good time management skills because this is a demanding and varied role where you will often be managing many priorities while also studying.
  • Through on-the-job experiences, learning and development, and qualifications, our training provides you with a continual learning path. We're searching for people that enjoy learning new things, seek out ways to expand their knowledge, and invest time in their studies.
