Our team thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment where innovation and agility are key. We’re now looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Accountant to join our finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to launch their accounting career in a supportive and entrepreneurial environment. You’ll receive hands-on experience in all aspects of finance, and we’ll fund your professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, ACA, or similar), including paid study leave.

What You’ll Do

As a Trainee In-House Accountant, you’ll support the finance team in managing daily financial operations while learning the fundamentals of accounting in a real-world business setting. Responsibilities will grow with experience and may include:

  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
  • Bank reconciliations and payment processing
  • Supporting monthly management accounts, financial reporting and coordinating cross-departmental reporting
  • Maintaining financial records and supporting documentation
  • Preparing VAT & VIES returns and other compliance tasks
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Liaising with external auditors and advisor
  • Supporting ad hoc financial projects across the business
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to manage time and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel and an interest in digital tools/systems
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to understand the business behind the numbers
