Description:

We are hiring for our client, a global law firm, who are seeking a Trade Mark Attorney (NQ+) to join their respected Dublin-based IP team. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or junior attorney to work with a broad range of high-profile clients, providing specialist advice across all aspects of trade mark law in Ireland and internationally.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, forward-thinking team that is passionate about brand protection and IP strategy.

The Role:

  • Advise clients on the clearance, registration, and enforcement of trade marks

  • Manage international and domestic trade mark portfolios

  • Conduct trade mark searches, draft legal submissions, and prepare filing strategies

  • Handle contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including oppositions, infringements, and enforcement

  • Work closely with clients from a range of sectors including tech, retail, pharma, and FMCG

  • Assist with domain name issues, IP strategy, and brand protection advice

  • Contribute to business development initiatives and IP thought leadership

The Person:

  • Qualified Trade Mark Attorney or recently qualified (NQ+)

  • Strong academic background and relevant IP experience

  • Excellent knowledge of trade mark law and practice in Ireland and the EU

  • Experience managing filings, oppositions, and enforcement (experience with international portfolios is a plus)

  • Commercially minded with excellent client service and communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach
