Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

• Assist in the completion of formulation of new products to meet customer requirements.
• Product evaluation, formulation development and sample preparation.
• Maintaining samples and products development stock area.
• Internal product technical support.
• Employ skills in the design and data analyses of experimental studies.
• Able to integrate experimental design expertise with technical knowledge.
• Execute experimental work to meet project goals and timelines.
• Manufacture, packing and evaluation of stability samples for development pharmaceutics.
• Work to tight production planning and deadlines.
• Assist compatibility studies and scale up processes.
• Be aware of existing quality procedures.
• Calibration of instruments and equipment in the laboratory.
• Oversight of relevant development pilot batch manufacture in production.
• Provide process transfer support for technical transfers.
• Ensure that all work carried out is in compliance with the required standards conforming to company cGxP, SOPs, regulatory regulations and guidelines, safety and environmental guidelines.
• Any other duties as deemed appropriate and as designated by the role holder's line manager.

Skills, Qualifications And Experience

• BSc in Science or Engineering or related discipline, post graduate qualification highly desirable..
• 0-2 years' experience in a pharmaceutical R&D / testing environment is preferred.
• Must possess a knowledge of oral drug product development.
• Excellent analytical skills, oral and written communication skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to operate both independently and in team settings.
• Must be willing to work on multiple projects.
• Ability to be self-motivated and focus others with respect to implementing identified improvement initiatives.
• Have demonstrated effective research skills, including the critical review of the scientific literature.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
