Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis

The position plays a crucial role in creating transparency, driving forecasting, and in‑depth analysis and reporting for the business. The FP&A team serves as the anchor point for the group‑wide financial processes and performance management setup.

As a part of Financial Planning & Analysis you’ll join a strong finance community with more than 150 highly skilled colleagues, across multiple functions.

Responsibilities
  • Support the transformation of EG’s performance management setup, by pushing the performance management agenda and strive to establish a best‑in‑class financial analytics setup, that includes a continuous focus on identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. You will participate in the shared service management group
  • Partner with business units to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑range financial plans.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Be a hands‑on part of the FP&A team, together with 5 other team members, where you are responsible for the quality assurance of the team’s deliverables
  • Step into a Nordic company, where as a result the hierarchy is very flat
  • Support the implementation and benefit realization from our new state‑of‑the‑art system setup (Jira, NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow)
  • Constant drive to improve methodologies and processes around reporting & analysis including non‑financial topics
  • Create transparency around the EG Financial performance, through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends
  • Support VP of Financial Planning & Analysis and management with strategic analysis and problem solving
  • Collaborate with the finance team on joint presentations, business reviews and analysis
Required Skills

In the FP&A function, you will work closely with the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as EG’s management team in general. In order to be the anchor point for the group‑wide financial processes and performance management setup, it is crucial that you master cross‑organizational networking, collaboration and the ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the business.

Furthermore, we expect the following from you:

  • 10+ years of business finance experience – in large corporations or consultancy
  • Experience in managing and mentoring teams
  • Experience with Group FP&A
  • Knowledge around Software as a Service (SaaS) company and key matrix models
  • Can inspire and direct teams and workgroups with different backgrounds towards a common goal
  • Fast learner and passionate about the vertical software industry
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Strong project management and presentation skillsExcellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with both external and internal stakeholders
  • A true motivator and emphatic team player, who can deliver results
  • Speak and write English fluently
