Job description
Your Role
  • Lead the design and implementation of key pilot projects focused on integrating sustainability and circularity within operations

  • Develop and execute initiatives aimed at ensuring compliance with sustainability-related regulations

  • Design and propose economically viable circularity solutions for current product lines and operational processes

  • Oversee collaborative initiatives focused on recycling medical product waste

  • Manage sustainability-related projects in collaboration with clients

  • Identify opportunities to enhance product sustainability without compromising functionality

  • Pinpoint areas for reducing environmental impact in operations and lead key improvement projects

  • Establish and manage data collection and processing systems to support regulatory sustainability reporting

Your Profile
  • A Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences); a Bachelor’s with significant R&D experience will also be considered

  • Practical R&D experience in medical technology; experience in sustainable product development and at least 2 years of R&D project management is preferred

  • Ability to analyze technical specifications and design data, with knowledge of polymer and alloy processing techniques (e.g. injection molding, extrusion, compounding, thermoforming, additive manufacturing, milling)

  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a sense of responsibility

  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with a track record of working effectively across departments

  • Self‑motivated, well‑organized, and enthusiastic about advancing sustainability goals

  • Fluent in both English and German (spoken and written), with strong communication abilities and openness to travel as required
