WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

• Proven experience in communication, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and a strong interest in sustainability issues.
• Deep understanding of how to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and complete projects.
• Ability to inspire and engage others, fostering enthusiasm for your initiatives.
• Capacity to build and maintain a strong network of partners both internally and externally.
• Understanding of the connection between environmental sustainability and business objectives.
• Strong commitment to promoting a more sustainable way of living.
• Proficient in English.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO EVERY DAY:

• Collaborate with the store management team to ensure sustainability is integrated into the store’s action plan.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and consistent engagement within the local community.
• Lead efforts to align sustainability strategies with the store’s corporate agenda and ensure smooth integration.
• Represent the company on sustainability topics, communicating strategy and goals both internally and externally.
• Oversee the implementation and periodic review of the store’s action plan through Sustainability Functional Reviews and other relevant evaluations.
• Serve as the primary contact for colleagues regarding sustainability issues, supporting training and engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with national and local strategic partners, including charitable organizations, to plan, execute, and communicate shared campaigns and initiatives.
• Provide sustainability-related content for communication purposes, with a special focus on local initiatives.
• Offer inspiring and motivating direction to colleagues on how we can work together to grow IKEA sustainably and socially responsibly.
