Staff Nurse, Alzheimer's/Dementia Service

CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce our partnership with our client, the leading dementia-specific service provider in Ireland. This reputable client works across the country in the heart of local communities, to support and advocate for the rights and needs of all people living with dementia, and their carers.

We are recruiting a Nurse for Alzheimer/Dementia services in Bessboro, Cork, who will report to the Operations Manager.

This is a permanent contract working 30 hours per week.

Reporting to Service Manager, the purpose of this position is to ensure that as many clients as possible are cared for in a safe and stimulating environment appropriate to their individual needs to the highest possible standard. This role is designed to give clinical expertise and guidance to lead the daycare centre and service and provide best practice dementia specific care to all the clients in the Day Care Centre. He/she provides and promotes a model of care which is person centred, community focused and has an appreciation of the needs of the carer.
