Job Type: Specific Purpose Contract – Mat Leave – 9 months

Salary: 57,675 – 98,736

Staff Grade Psychologist Opportunity

We are seeking a Staff Grade Psychologist for a permanent, full-time role. This position involves providing psychological services in psychiatry of later life, general adult psychiatry, and mental health rehabilitation. This Hospital provides a spectrum of neuropsychiatric services to adults with a range of serious and enduring mental health needs such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Diseases, as well as individuals with early onset dementias, schizophrenia, and mood disorders. We are the only facility in Ireland that provides a high level of specialized care for people with Huntington’s disease.


Qualifications:

  • Recognised third-level degree in psychology (QQI level 8 equivalent)
  • Postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Validation by the Department of Health
  • Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide therapeutic interventions
