Job description

Role: Staff Grade Psychologist

Location: Limerick

Job Type: Permanent Full time

Salary: €60,159 - €102,990

TTM Healthcare Solutions are currently working with one of Ireland’s leading disability services in search of a Staff Grade Psychologist for Limerick City. The successful candidate will work as part of the Children Disability Network Team (CDNT) in delivering services to children and young people (0-18 years) with complex needs. The purpose of this role is to provide quality, evidence-based psychological services within a family-centred model and to collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Overview of Role:
  1. To provide quality, evidence-based psychological services to children with complex needs, their families, carers, and staff within the CDNT.
  2. To psychologically assess clients referred to the CDNT, initiating, implementing, and monitoring programmes according to professional standards.
  3. Monitor and assess clients’ progress and adjust programmes as necessary.
  4. Provide ongoing support, information, and assistance to staff in carrying out programmes with clients.
  5. Participate in the delivery of training and education to service users, families, and staff as required.
  6. Engage in appropriate research projects approved by the service.
Requirements:
  • Possess a recognised postgraduate qualification in clinical, counselling, or educational psychology. (If qualified outside Ireland, qualification must be validated by the Department of Health.)
  • Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a car.
