Staff and Senior Grade Psychologists – Galway

Psychologists, Senior and Staff Grade are required to join the team in Galway in Primary Care - Child Services - Wait List Initiative (Network 7 (Athenry/Loughrea/Tuam and Network 6 (East Galway City and County) in partnership with the HSE.

The successful candidates must complete the eligibility requirements set forth by The Psychological Society of Ireland and possess a recognized post-graduate degree in psychology.

Job responsibilities:

• Provide counselling and psychotherapy in line with HSE best practice, across the quantum of services including provision of counselling and therapy to children and adolescents

• Conduct assessments and individual and/or group counselling/psychotherapy with clients of the service

• Maintain assigned clinical caseload

The Candidate:

• A recognized post-graduate qualification as a psychologist

• Permission to work in Ireland
