We collaborate extensively with third-party organizations to perform a wide range of activities. Managing risks related to privacy, information security, compliance, pricing, and IT is crucial, especially when engaging third parties.

The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) organization oversees the Working with Third Parties program to ensure effective risk management throughout all lifecycle stages. The goal is to reduce third-party risk, enhance capabilities, drive consistency and efficiency, and lower costs.

The Sr. Manager – Third Party Management Office (TPMO) will enable engagement owners and third parties to execute the WwTP program through efficient processes, building strong relationships with IBU, Manufacturing & Quality, Corporate Commercial/G&A, Tech@Lilly, and LRL functions to integrate WwTP practices into their operations. The TPMO Manager will oversee team activities, ensuring high standards and fostering engagement to maintain a high-performing team and culture.

Managerial Responsibilities:
  • Hire, lead, mentor, and develop the TPMO team to meet strategic and operational objectives.
  • Partner with the TPRM Capabilities team on data analytics, KPIs, training, and digital strategy.
  • Collaborate with the TPRM Global Process Owner and Internal Controls Owner for ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Support operational efficiency and process improvements across the wider team.
  • Ensure the TPMO team is trained and qualified.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and foster a culture of decision-making, risk-taking, and shared learning.
Organizational Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations and resource allocation.
  • Achieve operational goals with best-in-class processes and compliance.
  • Lead and support TPMO service delivery, including intake, oversight, due diligence, findings management, and exits.
  • Promote continuous improvement and effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance and training are maintained.
  • Drive operational efficiency and value across third-party engagements.
Stakeholder Management Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all functional stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight and reporting for third-party risk management.
  • Collaborate with Data Insights to enhance reporting and decision-making.
  • Work with the TPRM Hub and other TPMOs to develop capabilities.
Qualifications / Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Third Party Risk Management or similar roles.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
  • Experience with Aravo or similar risk management tools.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments, with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Business acumen and resourcefulness.
