Are you a Solution Architect with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Azure Cloud, and a passion for building event-driven, high-performance architectures that power global capital markets? Do you excel at stakeholder engagement and thrive when driving architectural strategy?

This is your chance to shape the future of a world-leading capital markets firm, leading the architecture of greenfield platforms based on Java, Spring Boot, and Azure Cloud. You’ll work closely with C-suite leaders, product heads, and engineering teams to design and build real-time, distributed systems using event-driven principles and technologies like Apache Kafka.

You’ll define a robust Java/Spring Boot microservices architecture, utilizing Kafka and other messaging technologies to enable real-time data streaming. Your solutions will be deployed on Azure Cloud, leveraging services such as AKS, Event Hubs, and Azure DevOps.

With full ownership over the technology roadmap, this is your opportunity to drive best practices in cloud-native, event-driven design, including asynchronous messaging, CQRS, and event sourcing, while also mentoring a growing team and shaping long-term enterprise architecture.

Skills/Experience:

• 5+ Years Solution/Technical Architecture Experience

• 10+ Years Azure/AWS Experience – strong focus on Azure Cloud

• 10+ Years Software Engineering Experience – primarily with Java and Spring Boot

• Proven experience designing event-driven architectures with technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Event Hubs

• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and asynchronous communication patterns

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and cloud-native best practices on Azure

Salary: €110,000 – €120,000 per annum
