Job Description

We are seeking a talented PHP Developer to join our software engineering team. You will develop and maintain solutions that integrate with WHMCS. Prior experience with WHMCS is a plus but not essential; proficiency in PHP, eagerness to learn, and high-quality coding are key.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
  • Deploy custom hooks, addons, and modules in WHMCS to extend functionality and integrate with external systems
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
  • Participate in Scrum events

Required skills and experience

  • Proficiency in PHP and MySQL
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of web security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with version control (git)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Time management skills to meet deadlines

Desirable skills and experience

Working Hours

Standard hours are 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility. Post-training, work is from Waterford, Ireland, on a full-time basis. Hybrid options available after discussion.
