Job description

Software Developer (Integrations)

Are you our next Software Developer to drive our integrations?

Do you have a strong engineering background and a passion for building high-quality integrations that bring data to life? Do you thrive on solving complex problems and creating reliable, scalable connections between platforms? Do you want to help shape how thousands of users bring their business data into Plecto?

While experience with integrations is a plus, the most important thing is solid general development skills - everything Plecto-specific can be learned on the job.

At Plecto, we are on a mission to create the world’s no. 1 Performance Platform. We want to grow and become better at what we do - and this is what motivates us every day to build a platform that helps other companies and people do the same.

What you will do

As a Software Developer (Integrations), you will join our skilled Product & Engineering team consisting of 12 team members. Your main responsibility is to develop, maintain, and improve Plecto’s integrations - ensuring our customers get reliable, real‑time data from tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Aircall, Ringover, ServiceTitan, and many more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build new integrations that connect external platforms to Plecto in a reliable, scalable way.
  • Maintain, optimize, and update existing integrations with a focus on performance and stability.
  • Work with APIs, webhooks, authentication flows, and different data models.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, and support specialists to deliver features that matter most to customers.
  • Solve complex data challenges - from syncing large datasets to handling edge cases and connection failures.
  • Contribute technical insights to the long‑term integration strategy across the Plecto platform.
  • Improve processes, documentation, and engineering standards to ensure integrations remain robust and future‑proof.
  • Monitoring & Quality: Sentry, Grafana
  • Tools: Slack, Figma, Jira, Confluence, Cursor IDE, Gemin
Who You Are
Mindset
  • You are ambitious, accountable, and solution-oriented, thriving in a dynamic, high‑performing environment.
  • You enjoy working with complex systems and transforming messy external data into structured, reliable insights.
  • You are structured and take full ownership of your work - from understanding the integration to delivering a quality data pipeline.
  • You are pragmatic: you value scalable architecture but understand the realities of evolving a mature product.
  • You are customer‑centric and can balance technical needs with business impact.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Required Technical Expertise
  • Experience: At least 1 year experience as a software engineer, ideally with backend or integration focus.
  • Integrations: Strong experience working with APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and data synchronization challenges.
  • Technology Stack: Experience with Python / Django or similar backend technologies.
  • Bonus: Experience building integrations for CRMs, telephony systems, ticketing platforms, or analytics tools.
What You Get

This is a great opportunity to take ownership, drive value, and deliver real impact on a live product used globally. You will be part of a supportive, open‑minded, and ambitious Product team that values autonomy, ideas, and open communication.
