Job description

Cpl Healthcareis delighted to announce their partnership with a reputable service, who’s mission it is to assist young people in reaching their full potential and integrate into the community. Our client works directly with young people in a residential care setting, aiming to provide the highest quality of care to service users, whilst delivering a stable and engaging workplace for its employees.

We are currently recruiting for a Residential Social Care Manager who will be managing two residential services supporting young people, based in Greystones, Wicklow.

This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday with on call.

To be considered for the role, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

·QQI Level 7 BA in Applied Social Studies, Social Care or equivalent

·A management qualification in Health/Social Care or be in the process of obtaining this qualification.

·Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory/management capacity

·An ability to make sound judgments and decisions based on current legislation, best practice and individual circumstances.

·An ability to assess situations and act appropriately and use analytical and problem-solving processes that best meet the needs of the service and those we support.

·A strong knowledge of the HIQA regulations and standards and all relevant legislation.

·Experience in strategic and local change management.

·Hold a full clean driving license and have access to a car.
