Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young adults with disabilities or complex needs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence.

  • Oversee individual care plans, goal setting, and meaningful daily activities.
  • Support and mentor staff through supervision and reflective practice.
  • Maintain compliance with HIQA Regulations, New Directions, and internal policies.
  • Promote wellbeing, safety, and inclusion across all aspects of care.
  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and the community.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and work flexibly, including weekends or nights.

Social Care Leader (SCL)

Location: One of TerraGlen's residential services (travel may be required)

Reports to: Deputy Social Care Manager / Person in Charge (PIC)

As a Social Care Leader, you'll play a key role in guiding your team and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care. You'll support the Deputy Manager and Person in Charge in creating a positive, family‑like atmosphere where young people can flourish and staff feel valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the team in delivering person‑centred support.
