Job description

We are currently recruiting a Site Lead on our client site in Virginia, Co. Cavan.

This role will report to the Area Manager. The function of the role is to support the client in all aspects of the stores. The role requires excellent stores knowledge with strong procurement skills.

Role/Responsibilities
  1. Complying with Health & Safety regulations
  2. Liaising with Engineers and other Client staff
  3. Attend weekly KPI meetings and update client reports as required
  4. Managing all aspects of running the stores including cycle counting
  5. Sourcing supplies for our clients and providing quotes
  6. Acquiring purchase orders from our clients to support the quote
  7. Creating sales orders
  8. Matching client purchase orders to sales orders and dispatching invoices
  9. Ordering from our suppliers and providing purchase order numbers
  10. Monitoring all open orders for clients and following up on delayed items
  11. Informing clients of any delays or issues with daily, weekly & monthly reporting
  12. Adhering to strict deadlines, providing timely and accurate information
  13. Supporting the stores team when required
  14. Performing other ad hoc duties as required
Candidate Profile
  1. Strong procurement background with excellent administrative skills
  2. Experience in Food & Beverage and/or Pharma & GMP is advantageous
  3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner
  6. Fluency in English and confidence in dealing with clients and vendors
  7. Flexible approach to all areas of the role
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Qualifications
  1. Experience in Food/Beverage/Pharma industry is advantageous but not essential
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Proficiency in IT
  4. Fluency in English
