Site Engineer – Setting Out (Multi‑Site Projects)

We’re hiring a Site Engineer to support setting out operations across multiple high‑profile sites in Cork and throughout Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys dynamic site environments, precision work, and wants to be part of fast‑paced construction delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying duties across various project sites.
• Work closely with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure accurate execution of design specs.
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with project drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Maintain site records including as‑builts, levels, and QA checklists.
• Support the delivery of programme milestones through effective on‑site coordination.
• Contribute to HSEQ compliance, daily briefings, and safety observations.
• Travel to various sites as required – primarily Dublin‑based but with national scope.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven site engineering/setting out experience in the construction or civils sector.
• Proficiency with setting out equipment (e.g. total station, GPS, AutoCAD, Leica/Trimble).
• Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of construction drawings.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Full driving licence and flexibility to travel across Ireland.
• Relevant Engineering or Construction qualification (Diploma or Degree).
