Kealy Construction requires a Site Engineer for the South Dublin Area.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the running of site with regards to setting out.
• Review information from drawings, specifications, etc. to foremen, operatives, subcontractors so that they clearly understand what is required.
• Liaise with a range of professionals (Designers, Engineers, Architects, etc.)
• Review technical submissions prior to upload to the design team to ensure the correct areas of work are addressed.
• Provide clear leadership and direction to the site team.
• Overview of concrete testing and results.
• Ensure all records and management activities adhere to institutional policies and legal requirements.
• Record all daily activities, relevant information and occurrences in your site diary.
• Maintain Health & Safety compliance.
• Maintain ISO compliance.
• Effectively prioritise areas of work and meet strict deadlines.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all personnel.
• Communicate well at all levels.

Your Skills & Experience

• 3rd Level qualification in an Engineering related field.
• Proven experience in setting out or working as a Site Engineer in previous roles.
• 5+ years’ experience in the Building Industry.
• Strong knowledge of BCAR & building regulations.
• High level of organisational and time management skills.
• Flexibility and capability to adapt to a changing work environment.
• Strong PC skills, particularly AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project & Outlook.
