Beauparc is seeking a SHEQ Officer to join our team. This role is suitable for someone starting their SHEQ career or seeking the next SHEQ opportunity in a challenging but rewarding industry. Location: Slane – multi-site role covering Slane and Knockharley.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a background in occupational health and safety or environmental disciplines, through hands-on work experience or academic study. The SHEQ Officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of SHEQ. Responsibilities
  • Identify potential hazards, risks and environmental impacts in the workplace; report on internal systems and recommend appropriate control measures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, environmental assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Provide training to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents and quality issues, and develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor workplace conditions to prevent occupational health issues and promote employee well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with local and regional regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address SHEQ concerns.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills as needed.
  • Promote a culture of SHEQ excellence throughout the organization.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SHEQ processes.
Qualifications
  • Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience as an EHS Officer or in a similar role, preferably in a high-risk industry.
