Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and management of projects, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and other engineering professionals to ensure compliance and project success.
  • Engage with design teams and building contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Review and approve all project-related drawings and correspondence before issuance.
  • Conduct site inspections and building appraisals to ensure standards are met.
  • Ensure full implementation of ISO9000 quality procedures across all projects.
  • Provide necessary information for monthly project review meetings.
  • Participate in annual staff reviews to contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in educational, commercial, retail, and residential projects within a consulting engineering practice in Ireland or UK.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Level 8) or higher.
  • Chartered status with IStructE or Engineers Ireland.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
