Job description
Overview

The Senior Stock Administrator will be responsible for managing and administering MongoDB, Inc.’s global equity programs. This role will collaborate closely with Finance, Payroll, HR, and Legal teams to ensure accurate record‑keeping, compliance, and reporting for equity compensation plans. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, experienced with equity plan administration, and comfortable working with equity platforms and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer day‑to‑day activities of the global equity programs, including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), performance stock units (PSUs), and the employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
  • Maintain daily equity data records and perform quality control checks in Equity Edge Online
  • Process and review equity transactions such as grants, exercises, releases, and terminations
  • Ensure timely and accurate equity reporting to Finance, Payroll, HR, and employees
  • Support global tax and regulatory compliance requirements related to equity transactions
  • Provide timely responses to employee inquiries and offer education regarding equity awards, ESPP participation, and transactions
  • Partner with Payroll to confirm proper tax withholding and reporting of equity transactions
  • Support internal and external audits of equity programs
  • Prepare and file Section 16 Forms 3, 4, and 5 in compliance with SEC requirements
  • Partner with Legal to review and administer 10b5‑1 trading plans and manually process trades submitted by trading plan brokers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in equity or stock plan administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with SEC, IRS, and global regulatory requirements related to equity compensation (preferred)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with close attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • Understanding of general global taxation of equity transactions
  • Excellent business judgment, communication skills, and service‑oriented mindset
