Overview

RPS has great opportunities for Senior Resident Engineers to join our site based teams for roles in the Midlands, North West, South West and South East of The Republic of Ireland.

About The Role

We are seeking a number of Senior Resident Engineers to work on major above and below ground water utility projects helping to deliver important infrastructure for their customers and to ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract documents (works requirements).

The duties of the roles shall include, but not be limited to:

• Monitor and report on works being carried out onsite
• Monitor the Contractor for compliance with the Safety Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations
• Prepare excellent technical reports and presentations for internal and external use.

Qualifications And Experience

The desired qualifications and experience for the Senior Resident Engineers are:

• Level 8 degree in Engineering
• 10+ years of relevant post graduate experience in engineering including site works supervision and monitoring of safe working practices. Ideally this will include water sector projects. Experience of pipeline treatment plant work will be an advantage.
• Hold a clean driving licence
• Hold current Safepass, Managing safely in construction and manual handling.
