We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to work within a busy team.

Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will provide supervision, management, planning control and delivery across a large project or several smaller projects simultaneously. This responsibility could begin at project inception or during a project lifecycle.

This position calls for a self-motivated Project Manager with a demonstrable background in project management and stakeholder collaboration. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Typical duties and responsibilities are listed as follows:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, timelines, and budget in compliance with the contract and governance arrangements.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders, establishing clear communication channels.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through regular updates and reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the project.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to cost constraints.
  • Establish project quality standards and ensure deliverables meet agreed specifications and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate project reviews and audits to monitor quality and project performance.
  • Monitor project progress against defined goals and metrics, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate decision-making on project changes with appropriate stakeholder input.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance project delivery.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications and traits:

  • Degree and or qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction / Project Management.
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum 7+ years’ experience as a Project Manager working with an established Practice / Business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong MS office skills.
  • Solid technical appreciation regarding construction documentation / methodologies.
