Job Description

• Responsible for the release of new and innovative IC based products into high volume production
• Lead and participate in technical design reviews to help improve the manufacturability and testability of products under development
• Improve the yields and profitability of existing products

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Interface with design groups on new product Introduction and design for manufacturability
• Develop production test plans to verify product performance and perform analysis of data using sound statistical methodology in order to set test limits and datasheet specifications.
• Continuously improve manufacturing test processes
• Support Testing in lab for new designs
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering and production targets are achieved.
• Monitor and investigate yield issues arising at any stage in the manufacturing and testing process
• Support reliability team in new product qualification and failure analysis
• Ensure all aspects of product manufacturing, including hardware, documentation, BOMs and costing are in place for the production release of a product

Key Competencies Required

• Significant exposure to and knowledge of RF and microwave components
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of statistical data Analysis tools (e.g. Minitab, JMP etc.)
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential
• In-depth understanding of statistics
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies
• Willingness to travel occasionally
