AQUAFACT (part of the APEM Group) is looking for a Senior Marine Consultant to join our team of marine science and environmental consultancy specialists. We deliver evidence-based solutions that help clients balance development with protecting marine ecosystems.
As Senior Marine Consultant, you will play a leading role in the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Appropriate Assessment (AA), Natura Impact Statement (NIS), Marine Usage Licence (MUL) applications and Dumping at Sea (DaS) applications across projects in offshore energy, ports and harbours, aquaculture, and coastal developments. You will take ownership of technical report writing and review, ensuring reports are delivered to the highest standard and provide evidence-based advice to clients. From the early scoping stages through to completion, you will liaise with regulators, engineers, stakeholders, and project partners, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Alongside technical work, you will contribute to tendering, proposals, and budget management, helping secure and deliver projects that support sustainable marine development. You will also mentor and support junior colleagues, helping to grow skills and capacity within the consultancy team (including personal development).
