  • Experience in large complex accounting functions and tight deadlines.
  • Expertise in financial modelling and reporting.

About the Company - This National NGO in Dublin 12 is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Finance team.

About the Role - Reporting to the Financial Controller:

  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, ensuring alignment with the company's policies and reporting timelines.
  • Produce monthly management accounts with detailed analysis and schedules.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the primary finance contact.
  • Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and analytics capabilities.
  • Prepare monthly rolling forecasts, including detailed variance analysis.
  • Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of Financial Statements and external audits.
  • Provide proactive line management support for finance staff in line with the company's core values.

Qualifications -

  • Qualified Member of a relevant accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Minimum 5 years’ finance experience post-professional qualification.
  • Experience in large complex accounting functions and working to tight deadlines.
  • Expertise in financial modelling and reporting using Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
