Job summary

A recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Finance Manager for a 15-month fixed-term contract in Dublin. This role includes overseeing financial processes, managing monthly accounts, and ensuring compliance with legislation. Ideal candidates will be ACA/ACCA qualified with over 8 years of PQE. Strong analytical skills and management experience are essential. Competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years PQE with a minimum of 4 years experience in a management role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the integrity of financial information.
  • Oversee the month end close.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Develop the month-end close process and drive efficiencies.
  • Lead the preparation of the annual budgeting process.
  • Coordinate year end accounts completion.
  • Attend monthly meetings to discuss financial performance.
  • Partner with Heads of departments to review costs.
  • Manage the year end Statutory Audit.
  • Implement audit recommendations and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Review and approve financial statements before presentation.

Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a well known Firm to hire a Senior Finance Manager on an 15 month Fixed Term Contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the integrity of financial information in compliance with relevant legislation and internal accounting policies.
  • Oversee the month end close.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Develop our the month-end close process, drive efficiencies and meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Lead the preparation of the annual budgeting process.
  • Coordinating and managing the completion of year end accounts.
  • Attending monthly meetings with the Finance Director to discuss financial performance of the firm and highlight key issues.
  • Business partnering with Heads of other departments to review their costs against budget.
  • Coordinating and manage the year end Statutory Audit
  • Overseeing the implementation of audit recommendations and monitoring the ongoing compliance with these and other controls.
  • Reviewing and approving financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards and relevant legislation prior to presentation to the Audit Committee.
  • Manage and developing the Financial Reporting team of four.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified with 8+ years PQE and a minimum of 4 years experience in a management role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and resolve a wide range of finance issues.
