Senior Engineer

Meath

€70/80k + Transport/travel allowance + Bonus

Required for a leading developer with long-term work in Meath & North Dublin for the next 2+ years, including large new build pharma projects up to €10m.

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and delivering key work packages, acting as the main liaison with subcontractors to resolve technical queries.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a similar role
• Technical Document Management – processing technical submittals, managing drawings, resolving technical issues with subcontractors, raising RFIs with the design team
• Quality management & site coordination
• Surveying – as-built surveys, volume measurements, technical skills

Role

• Ensuring timely and accurate information flow between the design team and subcontractors, overseeing the implementation of the Quality Management System
• Managing technical delivery of critical work packages including site development, sub-structures, superstructure, envelope, and internal works
• Coordinating subcontract packages to ensure sequencing and programming, reviewing design, and prioritizing information requirements, tracking RFIs & information release schedules
• Overseeing site engineers responsible for establishing control points, setting grids, formation levels, checking works, and producing as-built surveys
• Managing the technical quality control process to ensure compliance with building regulations, FSC, and DAC requirements, including submittals and benchmarking
• Managing the project inspection plan, ensuring quality control checks, installation inspections, and materials testing procedures are in place
• Coordinating inspections with design team, certifiers, and insurance representatives at key stages
