Senior Data Scientist

Are you ready to take the lead on high-impact data science projects in a thriving, future-focused industry? My client, a market leader in the food manufacturing sector, is undergoing rapid expansion and is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to help shape the future of their data strategy. This is a greenfield opportunity where you’ll own projects from day one, with the freedom and responsibility to build models that directly influence live production, pricing, and supply chain decisions across global markets.

In this role, you’ll take full ownership of large-scale data initiatives, from idea to implementation, designing and deploying models in a live production environment that drive real business value. You’ll play a pivotal role in understanding stock levels of key products, forecasting demand within the Irish market, and determining how much to export, all while managing the delicate balance of risk versus reward in sell-versus-produce decisions. You’ll ensure minimal waste and maximum commercial return, shaping intelligent strategies that align with operational capabilities and market dynamics.

Skills/Experience:

• 5 + years of experience as a Data Scientist with proven experience in scaling and building models for a live production environment (Risk and pricing dynamics)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience in food manufacturing is desirable

Salary:

€80,000 – €90,000 DOE + Incredible Benefits + Hybrid role and MORE!
