As a Senior Data/Business Analyst, you will be part of a pharmacy analytics team; focused on using data analysis to provide insight and understanding on pharmacy claim data. You will be a key team member, leading data analytics projects and working with a broad spectrum of business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret diverse and complex data using Python and SQL
• Translate business needs and problems into analytics, and then communicate those complex data findings as clear, business-friendly narratives
• Present insights to all levels of management through presentations, dashboards, and reports tailored for non-technical audiences
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring insights are easily understood and actionable
• Create documentation to explore and confirm business requirements
• Implement analytic activities to support decision-making across multiple lines of business
• Implement process improvement initiatives and automation for efficiency where appropriate
• Be responsible for the delivery of results and the support of business strategies derived from data insights
• Participate in all phases of a project life cycle including database design, process flow, benchmark and trend analysis, and modelling
• Provide recommendations to the development team regarding query optimization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree (or higher) in Data Analysis , Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven track record of translating data insights into business recommendations
• Proven ability to simplify complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights
• Data manipulation and data transformation skills and proficiency in SQL and Python
• Understanding of relational database concepts
• Proficient in researching, interpreting, and analyzing diverse and complex data, and assessing data quality
• Experience in deploying large scale analytical solutions or working in a large multinational company

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in a visualization tool like Excel, Tableau, PowerBI or QlikView/QlikSense etc
• Experience or knowledge with cloud-based data analytics e.g. (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
• Experience in healthcare industry, either from a pharmaceutical background or consulting firm
• Experience in tools such as Databricks, Airflow, GitHub actions, Azure cloud environment – Data factory, Data Lake
