Senior BIM Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to join a dynamic, collaborative design and engineering team on various complex construction projects. Based in Dublin, this position involves working closely with internal teams and project stakeholders to ensure coordinated, efficient, and high-quality BIM delivery throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using BIM software.


• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to support project goals.


• Lead and facilitate weekly model coordination meetings.


• Detect and report model clashes using BIM coordination tools.


• Oversee incoming and shared models, ensuring accuracy and compatibility.


• Generate visual content such as renders and technical drawings for reporting purposes.


• Coordinate mechanical and electrical systems within the BIM environment.


• Deliver as-built documentation and asset information models.


• Support both live and tender projects with BIM input.


• Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and quality protocols.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in BIM coordination with Revit and Navisworks.


• Strong background in mechanical or electrical services coordination.


• Proficient in BIM software tools and Microsoft Office applications.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Proven track record of resolving coordination issues efficiently.


• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.


• Knowledge of producing COBie and Asset Information Models.


• Experience producing AutoCAD schematics and 3D visual content.


• Familiarity with working from point cloud data is advantageous.


• Background in mechanical/electrical trades is a plus.
