Senior Audit Manager – Meath | Cavan | Dublin

Our client, a fast-growing and forward-thinking mid-sized accountancy firm with offices in Meath, Cavan, and Dublin, is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Audit Manager to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified audit professional who is ready to step into a leadership role, manage a varied client portfolio, and contribute to the growth of a progressive firm that values collaboration, development, and high-quality client service.

The Role

As Audit Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the delivery of audit services across a diverse range of clients. You’ll play a key part in managing teams, reviewing work, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role offers scope for progression and the opportunity to develop alongside the firm’s ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of audit and assurance clients across various industries.

  • Oversee all phases of audit engagements, from planning through to completion.

  • Review audit files, financial statements, and reports to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, trusted relationships.

  • Supervise, coach, and support audit staff; provide regular feedback and encourage development.

  • Contribute to internal training sessions and support continuous improvement within the audit function.

  • Work closely with senior management on complex engagements and business development initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).

  • 5+ years’ experience in audit, with recent experience at a supervisory or assistant manager level.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of audit standards and financial reporting.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, growing firm.
