Lawyer - Litigation and Dispute Resolution (eDiscovery) - ALG Solutions

The team

An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced (6+PQE) litigation, dispute resolution and/or investigations lawyer to join our award winning ALG Solutions practice group. We are seeking candidates interested in bringing their LDR experience and knowledge to this exciting eDiscovery role to assist in managing a dynamic and high performing team.

The role

As a senior lawyer on our eDiscovery and Investigations team, you will be the primary ALGS point of contact with LDR specialist teams and clients on multiple mandates simultaneously. The role will require seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams, including case teams, technology specialists, level 1 and 2 legal reviewers. The ability to expertly implement strategic e-discovery plans and workflows tailored to specific cases and client requirements will be essential.

You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and a keen ability to multitask and prioritise tasks. With strong leadership skills you will be able to manage, provide guidance and be responsible for the development of more junior legal professionals and help drive the growth of ALGS as a whole. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellence in the quality of output/work and an overall outstanding client experience. You will enjoy working in a fast paced and challenging environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ PQE in a top or medium tier law firm (or equivalent) and a passion for legal innovation
  • An exceptional knowledge of litigation life cycle, legal privilege, commercial sensitivity and data protection laws
  • Understanding of the EDRM and best practice discovery standards would be beneficial
  • Previous experience managing large scale eDiscovery processes and familiarity with eDiscovery platforms such as ‘Relativity’
  • Excellent presentation and client facing communication skills
  • Experience in managing a team of people and coordinating and managing the assigning and supervision of tasks and reporting to all key stakeholders
  • A high degree of initiative with leadership skills
  • A strong ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively and take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to work effectively within a team, inspiring confidence with a flexible and cheerful outlook
  • This role may suit a litigation lawyer returning to the work force after a career break.
