This hybrid role is based in either Tullamore or Trim and requires CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualification with at least 3 years in public practice.

Job description

Exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing advisory practice, known for delivering high-quality service and building strong, lasting client relationships. As a Senior Accountant – SME Advisory, you will work closely with a range of small and medium-sized enterprises, acting as a trusted advisor and helping them to achieve their business goals. Hybrid role - Tullamore OR Trim office.

Key Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:

  • Review financial accounts and tax computations for companies, sole traders, and partnerships.

  • Manage a varied portfolio of SME clients with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery.

  • Provide strategic and financial advice to clients, supporting their long-term growth and success.

  • Contribute to the growth and development of the advisory team and wider practice.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

  • CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a public practice environment.

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and small teams.

  • Strong commercial awareness and commitment to exceptional client service.

  • Proactive and eager to develop professionally while helping clients reach their full potential.
