Job summary

A prominent recruitment agency is seeking a Security, Privacy and Compliance Manager in Cork. The role involves assisting with audit fieldwork, contributing to customer security audits, and prioritizing compliance activities. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and experience in compliance, risk management, and information security. This is a long-term position requiring eligibility to work in Ireland, with a contract lasting over 6 months, offering office presence three days per week.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland, like Stamp1G, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
  • Must be eligible to work full time and long term in the specified location or hold a valid long-term work Visa.

Responsibilities

  • Assist audit fieldwork with auditors using appropriate auditing methods.
  • Contribute to customer security audit in collaboration with various lines of business.
  • Support and prioritize audit and compliance activities.
  • Communicate project status and results with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Document and mitigate identified findings and/or potential risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes.

Security, Privacy and Compliance manager

Location: Cork - 3 days (Tue, Wed and Thu) a week Office

Contract Type: 6+ months highly extendable

Scope
  • Assist audit fieldwork with auditors using appropriate auditing methods while leveraging existing documentation (ie Standard, procedures, Walkthrough decks, etc.) evidence and/or obtain new documentation to meet customer demands.
  • Contribute to customer security audit in collaboration with various lines of business.
  • Primarily support and prioritize audit and compliance activities.
  • Clearly communicate project status and results with senior management, project team, and stakeholders. Develop clear communication channels and direction among cross-functional teams.
  • Shares in-depth knowledge and experience with direct team to enable decision-making and provide innovative solutions to complex business issues.
  • Assist team and the customers to document and mitigate any identified findings and/or potential risks and control weaknesses. Assist with continuous evaluation and upgrading of operational policies, procedures and best customer auditing practices.
  • Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to inform audit planning and execution.
Deliverables
  • Deliverables include analysis outputs as relevant for the specifics of the audit, project requirements, project test and production go-live documentation, and in some cases project plans.

  • Information security and compliance, IT audit, consulting, and risk management
  • Experience in translating compliance requirements into operational and technical control objectives
