Job description

Contract position, hybrid remote 2 days per week onsite in Dublin City Center.

My client is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Security Engineer, the role is to primarily act as a project resource to join the security team. Therefore, deployment and engineering skills are best. The environment is mostly Windows servers, both on-prem and azure.

Someone who has managed other EDR solutions, that are similar to HX. Someone who has experience owning the EDR infrastructure. EDR agent role-outs, EDR component upgrades, agent coverage, and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Trellix HX experience is required.
• Experience in Server backgrounds.
• Experience in deploying technology or SaaS-based solutions
• Experience acting as a project resource and/or in a team.
• Experience with windows server and/or azure.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain security solutions across systems, networks, and applications.
• Monitor security events and alerts, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Assist in creating and enforcing security policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance for improving security awareness across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in endpoint security experience (such as antivirus, SIEM, or EDR) then all the better.
• Microsoft Experience – windows server and/or azure.
• Insurance or Finance background is highly considered(not a must).
