A leading provider in laboratory solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist to achieve sales quotas and develop business within the territory in Ireland. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field and proven sales experience, preferably in laboratory instrumentation. This role requires strong communication skills and can involve travel. Purpose
Responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas and goals for customers located within a defined geographic territory or account list. Prospects and develops business, responds to RFPs, and develops proposals for presentation to customer. Coordinates account resources with representatives from support and service teams.
Job Description
The Account Manager will be responsible for the sale of products from the Analytical Solutions Division of PerkinElmer in the assigned territory in a manner which positively reflects the Company image.
The territory will be Ireland: Munster and some parts of Leinster and Connaught
The product portfolio falls into two areas:
Previous sales experience of instrumentation is an advantage, however, we will consider applications from candidates with experience using relevant instrumentation in a laboratory environment who are considering a change in career direction.
Priorities and Objectives
To compete for all sales opportunities within the territory, ensuring that all necessary resources needed are used in order to close business in favour of PerkinElmer
To build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to allow product and service information to be communicated and strategic information to be gathered.
