We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Manager to join a growing engineering company based in Cahir, Tipperary. Reporting to the Strategic Development Director, you will take responsibility for leading and developing the sales team in Ireland, ensuring that the company sales, brand and revenue targets are achieved and exceeded. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive business growth by identifying and targeting new business opportunities, securing contracts through new and existing customers, and building strong customer relationships.

• Prepare and manage the sales by setting goals, creating sales plans, forecasting, and analysng data.

• Manage and coordinate sales proposals and tender responses with accurate pricing.

• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and production teams for seamless project transitions.

• Lead and build a high performing team through coaching and mentoring.

• Lead sales and marketing strategy development to enhance brand presence.

• Create demand through planning and attending trade shows and local promotional events.

• Monitor and report on market data and competitor activity.

• Engage and build relationships with key business stakeholders and customers.

Requirements:

• Proven successful experience in a technical sales role.

• Strong background and experience in Engineering/Manufacturing/Contracting industries.

• Experience selling to food/beverage/pharma industries will be an advantage.

• Strong people management experience and leading teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.

• Passion for sales and marketing, a self-starter with the innovation and creativity needed to bring the team to the next level.
